History
Television producer Pam Daly imagined Roadkill as the animatronic monster that served as narrator in her horror TV show, based on her own nightmare in which she had run over someone on Route 66.[1] On the screen, Roadkill and his cat presented the movie the audience were going to see. Although it was a program in very bad taste, it attracted Rintrah's attention. The demon Nightmare gave coherence to Roadkill,[2] who then began a series of homicides along Route 66 following the lyrics of the song, stating that he was looking for the person who had run over and killed him. This attracted the attention of Dr. Strange, who gathered a group of Defenders (Namorita, Punisher,[3] and Sleepwalker when he confirmed that the matter was his concern). Although Roadkill was a match for these enemies, they tracked him down until she attacked Daly on the Los Angeles set, and returned him to Daly's imagination, where she once again ran him over [1].
