History

The Brass Bishop is the leader of the Chess Set, a group of chess-themed criminals. He encountered Alpha Flight plus Spider-Man when he captured the bodies of Auric and Silver and planned to sell their remains to the highest bidder. However, the heroes defeated him and Nemesis would have slain him if not for the timely interruption of Wildheart.
