The past history of Iceman on Earth-21993 mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart up to the point which he and his fellow X-Factor members rejoined the X-Men. In this reality, Charles Xavier would call together the members of the X-Men, X-Factor, and the New Mutants to express his displeasure of their efforts to improve human/mutant relations.

Robert Drake (Earth-21993) from What If Vol 2 47 002

Iceman captured by the Sentinels

During the meeting, Cable got into an argument with Xavier over his tactics, leading to a battle between the New Mutants and the X-Men. Later, when Cable assassinated Xavier, Cyclops, and Marvel Girl, Iceman joined a team of X-Men led by Wolverine to get vengeance against Cable. The team ultimately tracked down Cable and the New Mutants at their base, and while Iceman held the members of the New Mutants at bay with the others, Wolverine slew Cable.[1]

Iceman accompanied Wolverine and the other vengeful X-Men later murdered Mr. Sinister and the Nasty Boys. When the US government unleashed the Sentinels in response to Magneto's take over of Washington, DC, Iceman was one of the few mutants that were captured and placed into an interment camp. Iceman was later rescued with Wolverine who was gathering a new team of X-Men.[2]

Powers

Seemingly those of Bobby Drake of Earth-616.
