Robert "Bobby" Kennedy was an American politician and lawyer who served as the US Attorney General and as a US Senator. He was the brother of President John F. Kennedy.[1]

History

US Attorney General

In 1960, after John won the Presidential election, Robert was appointed Attorney General of the United States. The choice was controversial, with publications such as The New Republic calling him inexperienced and unqualified. However, the committee voted almost unanimously for him; receiving all but one vote.[2]

In 1962, Bobby witnessed Blue Marvel battle Anti-Man from the war room at the Pentagon. At the end of the fight, it was revealed that Blue Marvel was African-American. This sparked a massive controversy due to racial discrimination and the general public being unwilling to accept a black super-man. Bobby advised his brother to ask Brashear to step back and retire.[3]

Assassination

In 1968, Bobby became a leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for the presidency after John had been killed five years prior. However, shortly after winning the California primary around midnight on June 5, 1968, Kennedy was mortally wounded when shot. He died the following morning.[1]

Legacy

The mutant civil rights leader know as X held Bobby in high regards alongside the likes on Gandhi and Martin Luther King.[4]

Apocryphal Appearances

Long after the death of both Kennedys, Jester created fake footage suggesting that Robert and his brother were still alive.[5]
