History

Born prior to the Nazi takeover of Germany, Robert Grayson was the son of a German scientist. With the road to war being laid out before him, not wanting his genius put to warm aims and wanting to protect his son from the growing violence, Dr. Grayson made contact with the Uranian branch of Eternals who agreed to offer him refuge. While the Uranian Eternals seemed altruistic in their help, they were actually prisoners on the planet, and hoped to use the Graysons as ambassadors who could pave the way for their return. They then sent him plans for a spacecraft called The Silver Bullet which would allow the Graysons to travel to Uranus.

Arriving there, the Uranians did whatever possible to make them happy, including providing young Robert Grayson with the powers he would need to liberate his country from Nazi rule. These gifts included a headband that was secretly used to funnel Robert Grayons's experiences to a Uranian Eternal who had been picked specifically because of his similar appearance to Grayson, and would be used as a back up in case Grayson discovered their true motives. So, with his new gifts, Robert Grayson set out for Earth in The Silver Bullet, but when he arrived on his home planet, the war was over. Finding there was still crime on the planet, Grayson became the hero Marvel Boy and fought crime in the 1950s, with his experiences being secretly downloaded into his Eternal doppelganger on Uranus.
