Personal History
Robert L. Yaple was an erudite on Robert E. Howard's Conan.
He was graduated from Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Kansas in 1959.[1]Professional History
Yaple did graduate work under a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship at the University of Chicago from 1959-60, and taught various courses in history, and especially his major interest, military history, from 1966 to 1973,[1] as well as military history at the University of Dayton for several years.[3]
From Savage Sword of Conan #7 (August, 1975) to Savage Sword of Conan #27 (March, 1978), Robert Yaple was credited as "Staff and Such", save for Savage Sword of Conan #26 (January, 1978).
