History
Rocket Raccoon is a member of this realities incarnation of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He has a short temper, and absolutely hates it if people call him a rodent or consider him cute.
Along with the other Guardians, he broke into the ship of Ronan and stole the Kree Mact, but in their escape attempt he and Groot got separated from the rest and had to steal one of Ronans’ escape pods. The pod crashed on Earth. The Avengers, along with agents from S.H.I.E.L.D., investigated. Rocket was taken into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody and brought on board the Helicarrier. Here, he managed to escape from his cell, around the same time the rest of the Guardians attacked the Helicarrier, and forced Jessica to come with him. The two of them ran into Iron Man and Akira. In the fight that followed, Rocket blew a hole in the hull of the Helicarrier and Akira was sucked out. Rocket managed to catch him and return him to the carrier, which made Iron Man realize the Guardians were not evil. The battle between the two continued for a little longer, until Akira and Groot interfered. After all misunderstandings were cleared, Rocket teamed up with the other Guardians and Avengers to defeat Ronan and Fin Fang Foom.
Rocket and the other Guardians came to the Avengers aid again in the final battles with Dormammu and Loki, having been warned by Nick Fury. They first helped to defend the Helicarrier against an attack from the Mindless Ones, thus allowing the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. to complete their new Kree Mact powered cannons and defeat Dormammu with them.[1] When Loki stole Dormammu's powers for himself, the Guardians tried to fight him (Rocket even personally took on Loki while the others fought him with their ship, the Milano), but he easily defeated them and caused their ship, the Milano, to crash. The Guardians got their ship operational again just in time to help Blade and Spider-Man fight off Loki's army of Mindless Ones so that Akira could deliver the Kree Mact to Iron Man.[2]
