Rocket Raccoon was a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy who discovered Thanos was being imprisoned by the Illuminati. He discovered this when he hacked into Iron Man's armor and watched as they visited Thanos' location. Gamora was sent to subdue Iron Man to help Rocket infiltrate into the Illuminati disguised in an Iron Man Armor. He called the rest of the Illuminati to a meeting at Thanos' location and revealed himself by attacking the group just as the Guardians of the Galaxy arrived and the two teams fought. Rocket set about freeing Thanos in order to kill him and eventually was able to open the cube. He, alongside the Guardians and Galactic Council attacked and killed Thanos. He was later seen at the bar with the rest of the Guardians and the Galactic Council celebrating the death of Thanos and relayed the story to some of the bar's patrons.[1]
