History
Rocket Raccoon and the Guardians of the Galaxy arrived on the planet New Kral in search of Gamora and Rocket asked a local merchant about a mysterious mineral he found on the planet where Gamora disappeared; the Guardians later discovered that a "resurrected" Adam Warlock was working there as a gladiator, but his performance was stopped by the invasion of Annihilus. All the Guardians (including Gamora) had escaped before Thanos destroyied that world trying to stop Annihilus. Thanos then arrived on Guardians' spaceship to make a plan against Annihilus who was in search of a mysterious source of energy; when Rocket asked if his mineral was that object Thanos destroyied it saying that it wasn't what Annihilus was in search of. Their plan was secretly heard by a spy-droid of the Lord of the Negative Zone, so when they attacked they were easily defeated. They escaped thanks to Rocket who hackered one of Annihilus' teleportation portals which brang them to the Starlin's Bar, where a fragment of Adam Warlock's conscience healed a hurted Gamora.[1]
Rocket didn't survive Annihilus' universe conquest.
