History

Rogue's history is presumably similar to her Earth-616 counterpart's. During a mutant protest against a possible mutant registration law, the Squadron Supreme instigated a fight with the mutant. During the fight, Squadron member Skymax killed Rogue's foster mother Mystique with his flames. In retaliation, Rogue killed Skymax by absorbing all his life force. While Rogue got her revenge, she was also stuck with Skymax's memories of killing Mystique.

Rogue later became a member of Magneto's Mutant Force, a team of mutants dedicated to aiding mutants from human oppression. One day, she and the Mutant Force busted free Emma Frost so she could use her telepathy to help free the psyche of Charles Xavier from Magneto's mind. While Emma Frost aided Magneto, Rogue and the Mutant Force fought off the Squadron Supreme who had tracked Mutant Force to their hideout on Island M, which Mutant Force struggled to fend off. Things looked hopeless until Cassandra Nova took over Magneto's body and banished the Squadron Supreme from Island M.
