Rogue was a member of the X-Vampires who was turned into a vampire by Wolverine, Lord of Vampires. After the Demons of Limbo begin invading Earth, Archangel was one of the many vampires who confronted the horde. When the tide was turned by the arrival of the Mindless Ones, Rogue was one of the X-Vampires who escaped with Wolverine. They encountered Mister Sinister who gave them the powers to defeat the demons, as long they exiled themselves from earth afterward. Rogue was empowered and fought demons, eventually invading the Dark Dimension.[1]
