Pícara is a superheroine. His past story possibly parallels to some point that of his Earth-616counterpart, with the variations due to the tongue-in-cheek, fourth-wall-breaking nature of Earth-TRN1046.
In this scene, Gata Sombra explains what happened with Pícara and Arpón.
At one time, supervillain Harpoon threw one of his sheer energy harpoons to superheroine Pícara, but fellow superheroine Gata Sombra saved her[1] (possibly in the same way this happened on Earth-616, where Shadowcat used her intangibility powers to protect both herself and Rogue from Harpoon's energy harpoon).}[2] Gata Sombra's powers then reacted weirdly and she became unable to become tangible herself again. She found that this languished her own romantic life, as prospective partners were reluctant to stay with her if they could not even touch her, and correctly deduced it was for saving Pícara.[1]
