History
Spaceknights do not have conventional suits. Their nervous systems are crafted into the Spaceknight exoskeleton; they are similar to cyborgs. ROM and Starshine are able to change between their humanoid and Spaceknight forms due to their original bodies being preserved.
In Spaceknight form ROM has superhuman strength, durability, stamina and reflexes, as well as interstellar flight. He does not need to eat, breathe, or sleep in this form, only an occasional 'shutdown' to rest. An auto-repair system heals injuries to his parts.[citation needed]Notes
