History
The Energy Analyzer was the device used by Rom to detect Dire Wraiths. It was able to penetrate their sorcerous shape-shifting ability to reveal them as they were to Rom's video receptors. This device was able to track energy trails and immediately provide Rom with an analysis of any thing or person that he trained it upon.[1]
Notes
- The Energy Analyzer and the Neutralizer were mistakenly labeled in reverse in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #15. In addition to this, artist Eliot R. Brown gave both items a significant redesign that differs greatly from their actual appearance shown in the interior art of Rom. The classification error was later corrected in issue #11 of the Deluxe Edition, but the redesign was retained despite its inaccuracy.
