Synopsis for "Second Coming!"

Rom interrupts a gang of thieves led by Archie Stryker as they break into the Laserium Corporation. The gang had kidnapped the manager who was in fact a Dire Wraith. Rom banishes the Wraith to Limbo, but Stryker believes he was a human that Rom mercilessly killed.

Notes

  • In the first few issues in which he appears or is mentioned, the first name of Brandy Clark's father is stated to be "John" but in later issues his first name is repeatedly stated to be "Jonathan."
  • Although Clairton was described as a small city with a population of 14,000 in Rom #1, beginning in this issue it is downsized to being a village.
  • Based on what Steve Jackson says to Brandy Clark in this issue, he was present when Rom arrived in the middle of Clairton last issue. He saw Rom seemingly vaporize Mike Collins and Perry Sykes, and then grab Brandy and fly off with her.
  • The four Dire Wraiths to whom Clara Knowles delivers her report at Project Safeguard are not named until next issue.
