Synopsis for "The Fire, the Friend, and the Foe!"
Rom battles Archie Stryker/Firefall. Brandy realizes that something is wrong with the agents and is knocked unconscious. Steve also realizes something is wrong and pulls along side of the car. One of the Wraiths/Fed Agents attempts to shoot Steve but is pushed out of the car by Brandy who had only feigned being unconscious. Brandy grabs the wheel of the car causing it to skid out of control and crash. As Steve approaches the crash site, he sees what he thought was a Federal agent die and turn to ash just like the ones Rom supposedly killed and realizes that Rom & Brandy have been telling the truth. As the two armored warriors break apart, Rom tells Stryker of his friend Karas who was the original Firefall and that he is not ‘wearing’ the armor but has been genetically grafted to it. Stryker doesn’t believe Rom. The battle continues and Rom defeats Stryker, severely damaging the Firefall armor. Stryker realizes that he cannot remove the damaged armor and that Rom has been telling him the truth.
