History

A talented TV actor prone to use disguises and known as "the man with the 999 faces", Ron Rainey retired from the scene and decided to start a career as a criminal impersonating Daredevil so that the hero would take the blame. The real Daredevil tracked and found Rainey while the later was stealing from Matt Murdock's Storefront office. In an act of mercy, Daredevil allowed Rainey to eat one Hostess Cherry Fruit Pie before sending him to jail.

Notes

In his single appearance, Rainey used no weapons and displayed no fighting skills. He surrendered to the original Daredevil without a fight. It is unclear whether he could physically fight any opponent.
