History
Rosie Rodriguez grew up in Mexico City, where she lived with her father, who owned an auto repair shop. After graduating, she was accepted to the University of California, in the United States. While attending school there, her mutation manifested. After that, she met a mutant on the run, Julia, and became her mentor and best friend.[1] She ultimately wound up on Genosha, the mutant nation ruled by Magneto, where she was one of the countless mutants killed during Cassandra Nova's Sentinel attack.[2]
With the establishment of a subsequent mutant nation on the island of Krakoa, dead mutants were granted a second chance in life thanks to the Resurrection Protocols implemented by the Five.[3] Rosie Rodriguez presumably returned to life thanks to this process and became a citizen of Krakoa, living in the Akademos Habitat and being teamed up with a group of similar mutants with feral abilities.[2]Attributes
Powers
Rosie Rodriguez is a mutant gifted with feral appearance and abilities. She has a muscular and tough body covered in brown fur with camouflaging spots similar to those of a leopard, pointed ears, long canines and vertical pupils. She presumably has enhanced senses and reflexes.
Notes
- A version of Rosie Rodriguez appeared in the Age of X-Man before the Earth-616 version ever made an appearance.[4] This would have been during a period of time in which this version of Rosie Rodriguez was dead.
Trivia
- Rosie loves puzzles, though the size of her hands have made smaller work difficult.[1]
