Roy Thomas is a writer and editor for Marvel Comics. From 1972-1974, he served as Marvel's Editor in Chief.
Roy Thomas was involved (as writer and editor) in many projects of adaptations of licensed and literary characters, including the adaptations of the adventures of Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian, to the point he is sometimes listed (by himself or others) as a writer of Conan, along Robert E. Howard, L. Sprague de Camp, Lin Carter, and Björn Nyberg.[1][2][3]
