History

This covert SHIELD location was located in mid-town New York. The Barber Shop front provided access to the main SHIELD underground complex. Authorized SHIELD agents, and VIP's, such as Captain America and the the Falcon, were pneumatically transported down into the SHIELD complex. After years of use, which included several breaches in security, the underground SHIELD complex and the upstairs "Barber Shop" closed permanently. SHIELD agent Jasper Sitwell oversaw its detonation.
