Saba Hamud was the brother of Arabian Prince Ali Hamud who built a home in the Belgian Congo during the 1940s. After the start of World War II, Saba's brother allied himself with the Nazis, building an airfield on his land so that Nazi planes could refuel on their way to attacking British colonies in Africa. Saba silently protested against this but secretly bide his time for the right time to strike. When the jungle hero Ka-Zar was captured and thrown in Ali's torture pit, Saba rescued him from a Leopard and pulled him through a secret passageway.[2]
Explaining who he is and his position to Ka-Zar, he helped Ka-Zar escape while setting up explosives below the property. As Ka-Zar freed himself and escaped aboard a Nazi plane, Saba detonated the explosives sacrificing his life to destroy his brother's home and slew all the Nazis within.[1]
