History

Saburo Yashida was a Japanese delegate to the United Nations who came to New York to dedicate a monument to the youth of the world. He was attacked by Sunfire, and even though he was saved by the X-Men, the monument was destroyed. Saburo, having discovered the identity of the attacker, tried to stop his son from a second attack, this time on the U.S. Congress, but was shot and killed by his brother Tomo who was, in turn, killed by Sunfire in retaliation.
