History

Salamander was a Mexican man allegedly given his powers of fire manipulation by Xiuhcoatl, the Fire Serpent. He was allegedly Xiuhcoatl's champion.

After Kaine saved a young Mexican girl from human traffickers, Salamander searched for her, first encountering the cops at the site where the rest of the prisoners had died, then in the hospital where Kaine left her. After battling Kaine (now as Scarlet Spider), Salamander was defeated and left to the authorities.

Salamander stated that his powers comes from Xiuhcoatl, the Fire Serpent.

Pyrokinesis: Salamander can generate and control fire, commonly creating serpents of fire with which he attacks his victims. Also when hurt, he "bleeds" out fire.
