History
Salem Center was a hamlet in the Westchester County town of North Salem in New York, founded in 1692.[2]
Charles Xavier founded his Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters on Graymalkin Lane near the town and used it as a base of operations for the X-Men and later the New Mutants.
The Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, home of the X-Men, used to be located on its outskirts.Points of Interest
