History
Sally Frosby was the daughter of Captain Frosby who commanded Fort Ironsides during the height of the Mexican-American War of the late 1840s. As a teenager Sally was sent away to school for two years and then was sent back to the fort. Along the way her stagecoach was attacked by the Gavin gang, and she and the other passengers were rescued by Billy Buckskin and his sidekick Soapy. The pair escorted Sally back to base safe and sound and helped the US Army capture the Gavin gang[1].
Later, while out riding with Billy, Sally was captured by his arch-foe the Native American renegade known as Nocona who was responsible for murdering Billy's father. Sally was held for ransom in exchange for weapons from Fort Ironsides, however Billy tricked Nocona and rescued Sally[2]. When Billy was later framed for stealing horses by a man named Blake, Sally helped break him out of the jail in Fort Ironsides allowing him to clear his name[3]. Sally was last seen attending a dance with Billy, where the young explorer fought it out with a logger named Moose[4]. Sally's subsequent activities are unknown.
