Sam Parkin spent 15 years studying the Multiploidy Process of changing ones size, however was unable to achieve any funding as Dr. Hank Pym had put heavy stigma on the idea of size-change with his Pym Particles. He was recruited by the Beyond Corporation to help form the New Paramounts but, like most other members of the team, was useless in the fight against the Nextwave Squad.[1]
