History
Samjokgu were a race of demonic shape-shifters, native to South Korea. In their true forms, they would appear in the form of large, three-legged wolf-like canines, but have displayed the ability to shift into a near identical replica of a Human. Samjokgu were the natural predators for another species of Korean shape-shifter, the Kumiho, who took the forms of foxes. Over time, the Kumiho developed a reputation among human legend for hunting and consuming men, which lead to generations of Korean hunters collaborating with the Samjokgu to hunt them; an effort which resulted in the near extinction of the Kumiho.
In the modern era, Samjokgu continue to operate within South Korea. The criminal Yongsan Brothers syndicate prominently featured the Samjokgu as their symbol, with at least one high ranking Samjokgu member, Kyungtae Kim.[1]Powers and Abilities
