History
Cannonball is a mutant who joins the New Mutants. He appears to be from somewhere in the south, due to his noticeable southern accent. He is shown to be clumsy and often runs into stuff due to his powers that cause him to propel himself. He is a good dirt biker and nearly beat Logan in a race. He aided Logan, Rogue, and Kurt in their fight against Mystique and Apocalypse in the finale.[citation needed]
