History
Cannonball shared a similar history to his Prime Universe counterpart until Set's conquest of Earth. He and the New Mutants were some of the many who fell under Set's influence and was mutated into one of his Serpent-Men. When those who hadn't been mutated attempted to attack Set and his Brides, the New Mutants defended them and tried to attack Cloak but jumped into his Cloak, seemingly to their deaths.[1]
