Cannonball won the gold medal in speed skating at the Winter Games. During the post performance interview he was asked if his mutant powers should have disqualified him and got into an argument with Captain America about whether Kentucky was a state or a country.[1] He later had a background appearance in Hulk's movie for the 83rd Annual Movie Film Awards.[2]
