I think I would have decided to go it alone for the rest of my life... but then I met The Falcon. He reminded me why I donned this mask in the first place... to inspire people to stand up for themselves. The truth is I don't know what I'd do without Sam --
History
Falcon's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's. He grew up in the U Street Corridor of Washington, D.C. He later became the sidekick of the hero Nighthawk after a fight with the Red Skull. Sam inspired Nighthawk to become a true hero again. During a fight with the Goblin, Goblin tossed Falcon off the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Nighthawk tried to rescue him, but his super strength caused his rescue line to snap Falcon's neck.[1] This deeply hurt Nighthawk to the point where he refused to take on any more sidekicks.[2]

Notes
- This version of Falcon is a pastiche of Jason Todd as they both died by their partners' arch-nemeses, The Goblin and the The Joker, respectively. Their codenames are also both based on type of birds.
- His death also parallels how Gwen Stacy died.
