History
Santa Cruz Mountains was a mountain range that passes through several counties in the United States. It bordered the Pacific Ocean and was close to the cities of Los Gatos and San Jose in California.[1] Santa Barbara was in the Santa Cruz Mountains.[2] The mountain range itself was not urbanized, instead being covered by woodland.[1]
The X-Men went to the Santa Cruz Mountains in California tracking Terrigen Mists that had been released in the area. Following the trail, they found out that the mists had reached the Ocean, going beyond their range to follow, but at the same time becoming harmless to any person.[1]
