History

Early Life

Sarah Rogers was married Joseph Rogers and they lived together in Brooklyn, New York City. They had a son named Steve Rogers, born July 4th 1918. A few months before Steve was born, Joseph died during World War I in a mustard gas attack. From then on, Sarah raised Steve herself. Sarah worked as a nurse in a tuberculosis hospital. She sadly caught the disease and died not long after.
