History
Sati is a protector of the people of India.[citation needed] Much like most superheroes in India, she is named after a goddess, Sati, the granddaughter of Brahma, the creator.[1] Some time in the past she met and befriended both Beast and Cecelia Reyes of the X-Men.[citation needed] She is said to have been adversaries for ages with an enemy patterning itself after the demon-goddess Kalima.[2] She serves India along with Skanda.[citation needed]
She enters the story after being pursued by the followers of Kalima and she crash-landed on Genosha where GeNEXT came to her aid. She quickly formed a bond with member Rico and the two went on a walk together and she introduced him to her uncle who shared his love of music.[citation needed]
Sati visits Megan and touches her why? She does not know but says she often does things she can't explain but they always work out right.[citation needed]
In the warehouse, Kalima teleports in and cast the same spell turning the team on each other. Only Oli and Sati are unaffected he reaches for her and absorbs her power, he gets flashes of varying images he can't understand and transforms his team including Megan into Indians and teleports them in different directions. Kalima is furious and demands to know what has happened. Sati does not know but kalima says the children and their souls will still be hers and they will all suffer. Sati meanwhile thinks yes they will suffer but they will win.[citation needed]Attributes
