Trivia
- Part of the plot of "The Cape of Dark Dreams" is highly reminiscent of "Shadows in the Skull" (Fantastic; February, 1975) by L. Sprague de Camp and Lin Carter[1] (adapted in King Conan #4; December, 1980), in which King Conan visited Yanoga, a city at the Beach at the Edge of the World, at the southern tip of the Black Kingdom, where dwelt Serpent-Men led by Queen Lilit, posed as descendants from Vendhyan sailors who had enslaved a race of yellow-skinned aborigines (but mated with slave girls from their cargo instead of with the enslaved race).[2]
