Notes

  • The Horror from the Red Tower was freely adapted from an unfinished story by Robert E. Howard, left untitled by Howard at the time of his death in 1936, with a two-page synopsis relating the rest of the tale. In the 1960's, L. Sprague deCamp rendered a prose version named Drums of Tombalku (which appeared in the Lancer paperback volume "Conan the Adventurer", among other places). Roy Thomas later invited Fred Blosser to adapt the story for Marvel Comics.
