History

On a World without powered beings, Curt Connors' Science Squad was the only thing that stood between Kaiju and the humans of the world.

As a natural phenomenon, the Earth frequently produced Kaiju, or giant monsters, which served one of two purposes. Antigenic Kaiju destroyed things which were about to destroy the entire planet, and Pathogenic Kaiju existed like an infection, destroying things for no reason. The Science Squad's main duties were to evacuate citizens wherever Kaiju were appearing and direct one Kaiju at another before they destroyed too much of the planet in the process of finding each other.

With the help of the Exiles, and Trask's Red Ronin, they were able to pit Fin Fang Foom against Krakoa in the Pacific Ocean, saving downtown Tokyo.
