History

Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops, is a mutant and a member of this realities incarnation of the X-Men.

He was one of the various superheroes invited by Iron Man to attent the official presentation of the DISKs at the Raft. Wolverine tried to talk him out of going, since he feared the DISKS would be used to detain Mutants, but Professor X encouraged Cyclops to go. Wolverine's fears turned out to be correct though, because Loki crashed the party and used the DISKs to trap many heroes, including Cyclops.

Cyclops' DISK was subsequently lost when Loki and Akira accidently created a Dimensional Oscillation that scattered the DISKS around the world. Wolverine tracked down Cyclops' DISK and took it with him when Professor X send him to Techno Isle to track down a new mutant, Noriko Ashida, whose powers could probably release Cyclops and other heroes from their DISKS. Noriko didn't want to have anything to do with Wolverine however, since she hated being a mutant. When Noriko was tricked by Okuma Jubei to steal all the DISKs, including those of the Avengers, for him, Wolverine sought out Hikaru and gave him Cyclops' DISK so the two of them could team up to rescue her. Cyclops managed to take down Baron Zemo, but unfortunately his timer ran out and he was returned to his DISK before he could defeat the villain.

When last seen, Cyclops is still trapped inside his DISK. It's unknown if, and when, he was ever released.
