Scott Summers is a mutant who hid his mutation from the world by wearing ruby-quartz glasses to prevent his optic beams from firing.
At some point, he organized a Resistance against the Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler, Red Skull, and Herr Xavier.
He was arrested along with his teammates during the nascent stages of his rebellion, and were sent to Xavier's lab where he and his teammates were experimented on. Scott was restrained and his energy collected for an unknown purpose.Paraphernalia
