History

Mellencamp was a mutant with a reptilian appearance. He was an Acolyte for Fabian Cortez. He died in the Wild Sentinels' attack on Genosha but was resurrected by Eli Bard, using the Transmode Virus. At Utopia, he was re-killed by Loa.

  • His name was misspelled Melloncamp on his first appearance and has been called Meelencamp once too.
  • Mellencamp was an Acolyte for Fabian Cortez and first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #300. He seemingly died in X-Factor #92, but he reappeared in Heroes for Hire #16 without explanation.

Trivia

  • Despite his monsterous appearance, he is actually very noble. he is only vicious during battle.
