Sean Boyle wore a Spider-Man mask while mugging and so came to be nicknamed the "Spider-Mugger". After mugging Peter Parker, he discovered Spider-Man's Web-Shooters. Boyle deduced that his victim was Spider-Man. Boyle had surrendered the credit cards he stole to an employer and was killed when attempting to retrieve Parker's to learn the identity and home address of Spider-Man. His body was then dumped in an alley where Spider-Man discovered him and was accused by police officers of having killed him.[1]
