History
Selandiar was the "intergalactically-renowned council planet" where representatives of the civilized races of no less than eight galaxies sometimes met. It was where the Galactic Council was meeting during the crisis caused by the weeks-long rampage of the then-insane Ego the Living Planet[1] and during the subsequent attempt to quarantine Earth and use it as a prison planet.[2]
Later, the Galactic Council decided to move their operations to a neutral space station called the Proscenium as they felt that Selandiar was far too Shi'ar-alligned.[3]
