History

Seljack was an Atlantean mercenary captain that served King Kull's Valusian army during a winter campaign against the Commorians.
This was chronicled as occurring in the tenth year of Kull's rule, though the lack of further evidence, supportive or contrary, makes it difficult to confirm.

As the Valusian forces were returning to the Crystal City, Seljack eventually refused to march further, and demanded to be paid immediately and allowed to ride home, arguing that the campaign had lasted longer than promised, and had caused many casualties in his ranks. Kull tried to make Seljack fulfil his pledge, but he refused. When Kull threatened to have the Atlanteans executed, Seljack proposed to avoid losses on both sides and settling the matter in the Atlantean way, through a trial of arms. Despite suffering from earlier wounds, Kull managed to slay Seljack, though he ended the fight almost dead himself.
