History

Number Two was the commander of Larry Trask's Neo-Sentinels, following the orders left by his predecessor, Master Mold.

When they were tricked by Cyclops to fly into the Sun and eliminate the source of all mutation, Number Two was mutated by close exposure to solar radiation, granting him full sentience and the power to teleport himself and others across vast distances.

It then plotted to sterilize humanity by causing a solar flare, but it was destroyed by the other Sentinels when they discovered Number Two was a mutant as well.
