History

Sergei Kotznin was the ambassador of Carnelia and a fan of Iron Man.

Kotznin was tasked with signing an important contract in a foreign company. He ignored an offer by Hammer Industries and chose to sign the contract with Stark International. Justin Hammer planned to assassinate the ambassador to get the contract. During Kotznin's meeting with Iron Man, Hammer secretly took control of Iron Man Armor Model 4. A repulsor ray from the armor killed Kotznin in full view of an audience.

Following Kotznin's death, Carnelia signed the contract with a subsidiary of Hammer Industries.
