Synopsis for "This One's For Dino!"
The Howler receive a letter from Dino in America that informs them that he's still recovering but that he'll never recover the use of his legs unless they assist him in retrieving Dr. Warren Parker a specialist who is imprisoned behind enemy lines. After getting unofficial okay from "Happy Sam" Sawyer the Howlers and the United States Army setup a covert mission to drop onto an island in the Baltics called Danton to bring back the doctor and have him perform the surgery for Dino. Joining the Howlers on their mission is Jim Morita, a Japanese-American soldier who was facing his fair share of hardship within the army from racial tension before departing with the Howlers.
The group eventually made it over the island and parachuted down onto it then made their way into the prison camp and fought their way out with the doctor in their company. The brave P.O.W.s got in the way of the Nazi forces to ensure their escape. Upon their return Dr. Parker ensured he would do his best to help Dino when he gets to the U.S. meanwhile Jim Morita joined up with his fellow soldiers in a nisei squad and the U.S. soldiers who were giving him a hard time apologized when they learned that Jim went AWOL to help aid a fellow soldier.
