History

Shadow-Stalker was a talented martial artist who was taught by Sifu Chow and would become Fu Manchu's favorite assassin. His trademark ball and chain headpiece made him truly unorthodox and dangerous. Shadow-Stalker faced Shang Chi in a duel where they were chained to each other but was defeated by the superior martial artist.[1]

These two men met again when Shadow Stalker joined Fu Manchu's daughter in a bid for control of the Si-Fan. However, Shadow-Stalker betrayed her and joined Shang-Chi against her fledgling Si-Fan rebels. After defeating her forces, he tried to convince Shang-Chi that together they could rally the Si-Fan and defeat both Fu Manchu and Fah Lo Suee. Shang Chi refused and told Shadow-Stalker he didn't seek power, only peace. Shadow-Stalker left Shang Chi but reminded him that there would be no peace in their next meeting.[2]

Shadow-Stalker confronted Shang Chi years later in a Chinatown restaurant in New York. Shang Chi took advantage when Shadow-Stalker's anger and stupidity clouded his reason and efficiency. Shadow-Stalker attacked Shang Chi with his unusual head weapon and one of his spikes got stuck in a wooden post. The master of kung fu hit Shadow-Stalker with a fierce, left-handed strike and knocked him out.[3]

Shadow Stalker was hired alongside a host of other criminals to capture Domino who was training in Hong Kong with Shang-Chi, the group of criminals ends up defeated by the two heroes.[4]
