  • The Mandarin's existence in the MCU was first referenced in the Marvel One-Shot All Hail the King following the appearance of a fictional version in the film Iron Man 3.
  • The film was originally scheduled to release on February 12, 2021.[4] However, on April 3, 2020, Marvel announced its Phase Four film line-up had been pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings taking the new release date of May 7, 2021.[5] In September 2020, the film was pushed back again to July 9, 2021.[6]
