Quicksilver brought the Zombie virus to the Savage Land. Over three months it spread to infect everything, except the survivors on a mountaintop compound. Ka-Zar became infected from a scratch and ordered Shanna to leave him and protect their son Matthew. Zabu stayed with him and became infected as well. Shanna fought them and laid them to rest, but Matthew got infected in the process.[1]
