Synopsis for "The Whole Hero Thing: Part 1"
She-Hulk has returned from New York to her RV in a Jersey trailer park. She tells Jazinda about the man named Brand who blew up the bar she was in. Using her Skrull projector, Jazinda is able to create a facsimile of what he looks like. As Jazinda searches various databases to try and track down the bomber, she notes that Jennifer is in human form. Jen explains that she had to change back to human form to fit in the shower. However, when she is asked about which form she is comfortable with, Jennifer gets angry and changes back into She-Hulk. Suddenly, Jazinda finds a hit and tells Jen that she has tracked this Bran character to an address in Ohio. Wanting to nab this killer, Jennifer tells Jazinda to get rolling.
Meanwhile, at Allentown National Park in Pennsylvania, Larry and Tanya Ryan have gone on a camping trip to try and work out the problems in their marriage. They suddenly spot a shooting star in the sky and watch it as it streaks across the sky. However, they are surprised when it suddenly arcs in the air and starts heading to Earth. Not far away, Jennifer and Jazinda are on their way to Ohio. Along the way, Jazinda asks She-Hulk if she is happy with her life, noting that she seemed happier to be a lawyer. However, Jennifer is satisfied with a job that actually pays the bills. Suddenly, something lands on the roof of the RV and when Jennifer looks outside to see what it is, she is surprised to see that it is an alien craft of some kind. She climbs up onto the roof and asks whoever is onboard to emerge from the craft and explain themselves. When the alien inside refuses to come out, Jennifer punches the craft off of their RV. However, the craft comes back and slams into She-Hulk, sending her flying off the top of the vehicle.
Jazinda pulls over to see if Jennifer is okay, but the bump hardly did any damage. Furious at being attacked, She-Hulk rips the hatch off the craft. She is shocked to find a green-skinned alien inside. Jazinda identifies him as a member of the Foma, a race of gamma irradiated aliens from the planet Chez. The alien, named Cazon, explains that he had come to Earth to find a colony of his people and his ship mistook She-Hulk for one of the Forma. However, Jennifer is uninterested in helping as she has other things to concern herself with. Cazon begs Jennifer for help, explaining that he is a member of the Tangiers, a class of royalty and he has fled his homeworld because he was accused of murdering those who didn't follow him. Jazinda tries to convince Jennifer to help, however the She-Hulk is finished with the hero business and tells Jazinda that if she wants to help Cazon they are finished as well.
While not far away, the Ryan's camping trip is interrupted by Kodor of the Badoon, who has come seeking Cazon. When Larry tries to shoot the Badoon, Kodor easily disarms him and warns against further attacks or he will kill them. He then grabs their food and heads into the woods. Elsewhere, Jazinda tries to convince She-Hulk to be a hero again. However, Jennifer refuses, pointing out that it has only gotten her death and disappointment. Suddenly, they hear a scream as Kodor has found Cazon. Jazinda goes to his rescue, fighting Kodo. Surprisingly, She-Hulk comes to help when Jazinda gets into trouble. While She-Hulk battles Kodo, Jazinda makes a break for it with Cazon. In the woods, the pair run into Larry and Tanya. When Cazon suggests they take them hostage, Jazinda realises that Cazon is evil. When they balk at this idea, Cazon kills Tanya and Jazinda, and takes Larry hostage.

Synopsis for "Beasts of the Field"
Inventor Manfred Ellsworth has been hit with hard times. Put out of business by Tony Stark, the only thing that he has left is his Man-Elephant armor. Abandoning his human identity, the Man-Elephant has found his way to Timbuktu to seek enlightenment. When he arrives he is approached by some terrified locals who are afraid of the Tuareg Rebels. When he refuses to help, they beg him to help because the wise old woman in the nearby tower said would happen. The Man-Elephant goes into the tower and finds a blind woman from India who is able to paint the visions that she sees.
Seeing a painting of his fight with the She-Hulk convinces the Man-Elephant that she can see visions. The wise woman explains that he is the chosen avatar of the Indian god Ganesha. Showing him a portrait of the elephantine god, he is told to touch the gem of Seetorak that is upon its brow. As he does the gem begins to glow and soon he is bathed with light that begins to change him. When the Tuareg rebels arrive to terrorize the village, Manfred Haller faces him in his new form: That of the elephant man known as the Behemoth.
